LIKE.. saying people only like a movie bc a character is hot is a common way to demean women and n-b folk and their interests/opinions and disliking people who dont like tcw anakin because hes overtly masculine in a way to “prove” hes a man..
many trans folk ive talked to are uncomfortable with this portrayal especially since haydens anakin wasnt overtly masculine or feminine. it takes a portrayal and snips the parts it thought were inheritly bad which included emotions other than rage and anger and+
other feminine-deemed traits and replaced it with an anakin that made me think as a trans masc n-b person “am i manly enough” and “will i need to act this way to be accepted as the gender i identify with?”.
and to be clear: i dont hate tcw. i love tcw and i still like the characters in it. but im allowed to be critical of thing that were obviously pandered to an audience that was more socially acceptable: cishet men.
this isnt to say op is transphobic or mysogynistic.. its just to say there are valid reasons to hate tcw anakin!! people arent scum or shallow bc they dont like him
