Grover Cleveland was a chill President, if you ignore the fact that he groomed and married his GODDAUGHTER, whom he had known since INFANCY. He was 27 years her senior. But lol got elected twice nonconsecutively
Benjamin Harrison didn’t die a month in like his grandfather, but whatever he did in office was enough that the country said “Enough! Give us the old guy back!” And subsequently lost in a landslide to Grover Cleveland.
Grover Cleveland again? Well, this time he comes with a shiny new Economic Depression™️ that leads to the very beginning of the Conservative migration towards the GOP. Oh yeah, we didn’t forget about your wife either. Weirdo.
William McKinley is generally considered a decent President. However, he’s known as the “innovator of American interventionism”, which means he liked getting into other countries’ business. A practice that is unfortunately still observed by every sitting President since.
Many people like Teddy Roosevelt, but BOY did he hate Native Americans. Just look it up some time. I’d like to use the rest of my time to note that he invited Booker T Washington to dinner, but refused to do it again due to backlash. W.E.B. DuBois was somewhere laughing.
William Howard Taft spent his time meddling in other countries’ affairs mostly. Meanwhile, Booker T. And DuBois are arguing over how Black people should liberate themselves. While they argue, Taft removes a bunch of Black people from offices. So much for the Talented Tenth.
Woodrow Wilson held a screening of the KKK recruitment video— I mean groundbreaking film Birth of a Nation in the White House. And he was quoted three times in it! I think I’ve said enough.
Warren G. Harding had the reputation of being kind of a doormat, letting cabinet officials waltz him right into a scandal. The worst part is, he was dead when it all came out.
I will refrain from Calvin Coolidge slander to note that he was one of the first presidents to call for lynching to be made a federal crime (lol that wouldn’t happen for another N I N E T Y - S E V E N years. He was also the first president to speak at Howard University 💙❤️
Herbert Hoover not only tanked the economy and led America into the Great Depression, he also signed an executive order that deported over a million Mexican Americans to try to open up more jobs for white people. It didn’t work.
FDR... oh, FDR. The first true left-leaning Democrat President, but...
-Didn’t invite Jesse Owens to the White House
-Despite America meddling in everything else, decided the Holocaust was when they were gonna take a break in meddling.
-Japanese internment
There’s a lot I could talk about with Harry S. Truman. McCarthyism, the second red scare, the beginning of the Cold War, and meddling in the Middle East which eventually led to all hell breaking loose in that region, something we’re still suffering for. Thanks, Truman!
Dwight Eisenhower hated Nazis, which is more than you can say about the current President. He signed a Civil Rights Act, gave us interstates, and warned us about the military industrial complex. If more Republicans idolized Eisenhower than his VP, we’d actually get somewhere.
JFK’s been through enough, so I’ll hold off on the slander. One has to wonder what he would’ve done had he survived, though, especially since he supported the Civil Rights Movement...
LBJ passed a bunch of Civil Rights Bills and somehow convinced America that denying Black people human rights was for atheist commies, so that’s cool(?). Spoke at HU, that’s cool. Also escalated the Vietnam War & liked whipping his meat out. Not very cool.
Wanna know where 45 gets his rhetoric from? Look no further than Richard Nixon. After all the MLK riots and Vietnam protests, white conservatives were shook. Nixon promised “Law and Order” to put those filthy Blacks and hippies in line! Oh yeah and watergate happened lol
Nothing much to report for Gerald Ford. Pardoned Nixon, people didn’t like that. But he did one thing, and that was prevent HIM from rising to power... at least for now.
Jimmy Carter wasn’t the best President, but he’s a genuinely good guy, starting a charitable foundation and being a key part of Habitat for Humanity. Any mistake he made in office pales in comparison to the evil that came after him...
I pride myself on not hating a lot of people. Ronald Reagan does not get that benefit from me. This man is the Black man’s antichrist. Reagan moved more crack into the hood than Pablo Escobar. Demonized minorities everywhere. Made Republicans insufferable creatures. I hate him!
Instead of talking about George HW Bush, I’m just going to continue Reagan slander. Cmon, now— Reagan was literally the original “Make America Great Again” candidate! Bush ain’t do Black people any favors either. Google the Willie Horton ads sometime.
Bill Clinton ain’t safe because he played a saxophone... let’s talk about the 1994 Crime Bill (which a certain 2020 Democratic candidate authored), which put thousands of cops on the streets when Rodney King had just happened two years earlier. Also, the Defense of Marriage Act.
9/11 and Iraq are low hanging fruits. What isn’t low hanging fruit is George W Bush passing the Patriot Act, allowing the government to legally spy on everyone, and No Child Left Behind, which left behind children in record amounts. Oh yeah, Katrina too. And the recession.
Look at this nice picture of Obama at Howard. Done looking? Good. Now we can get into the deportation of over 3 million immigrants, the drone strikes, persecution of whistleblowers, and increased duration of the Patriot Act. Oh, and that time he pretended to drink water in Flint.
Take all the worst character traits of every previous president, put it into 1 man & you’ll get Donald Trump. In just a matter of years, every Gen Z’s childhood dystopian fiction has gotten closer to materializing. The worst part is, America didn’t learn enough to prevent Round 2
As of July 2020, this thread is finally over. However, I’d like to take this time to not just remind you to vote, but to vote better people in the primaries because almost all these dudes totally sucked.

For some reason Franklin Pierce’s entry deleted. Either way, he’s between Millard Fillmore and James Buchanan. I’ll repost his below this post.
Franklin Pierce viewed abolition as a threat to the nation, as opposed to the people willing to go to war for the right to own people as property. Essentially put America in the fast lane towards Civil War.
