$COCP DD INCOMING SOON!

Alright everyone, Cocrystal Pharma, Inc. is a clinical stage biotechnology company.

I’ll present why this is a great swing trade & long term hold as well.

I’ll also dive into how COCP is NOT falling into the market traps $KTOV $GNUS & others have!

Ok first generic statement as mirrored in my profile that this is my opinion and research and do your own DD and blah blah blah...

Secondly, want to thank the DD masters in @buysellshort @yatesinvesting @ChrisRandone @iamjohn_c @t0_the_mo0n_ & @TraderBJones for paving the path!

1. As I mentioned at the top, this DD on $COCP is not just about how this company is on its way to great things and could be the next great runner...

This is ALSO how this company has NOT fallen to the market traps such as $gnus $ktov $novn $ship $ctrm so let’s start there!

2. In this market, what can really control and affect many stocks in good (and mainly bad ways) is their visibility to the “retail bros” in the Robin Hood crowd and the shorts/day traders whose volume can make a stock fly once but hurt it in the long term!

3. For those of you who are new to Twitter & trading, yes charts & volume & RSI & trends & candles & cups are all really important... but you also need to look at the market dynamics & inclusion (or lack there of) with the Robin Hood crowd as this tweet below shows with $cocp https://twitter.com/bobbyfnaxelrod/status/1283507662047584256

4. So the last retweet referred to the list of most added stocks on Robin Hood which being on can help volume fly your stock but with great visibility comes great problems & almost puts a shelf life on its success of the stock to blast with a wealth of expectations like $ktov

5. And so just as we saw with $ktov once everyone jumped aboard and was waiting for the “collab” with $mrk when it did not happen the whole floor fell apart and even good PR didn’t move the stock as shorts kept it down and nothing is good enough anymore to push the needle!

And so with a 10 day vol average of around 4-5 million and NOT being on the radar for most $COCP is in a prime position as they don’t have the market attention beside one really annoying short as MS PHD (who you’ll see often with COCP) has been yelling at for months! https://twitter.com/ms101phd/status/1283489351545040899

7. And so before we even get to WHY $COCP is a great investment IMMEDIATELY, take note that COCP has not had ANY PR since May and even released their July prospectus deck and updates quietly on their website... no PR and no unneeded attention...

And so now let’s shift gears!

8. So as I mentioned $COCP just released their July deck which provides great clarity to where they are and are going... you can find it here but I’ll highlight the main slide coming up on page 9.

9. And so the first thing if of course look below for their drug timeline and process...

For today we’ll focus on the main three drugs in the Hepitatis, Influenza & Corona Virus inhibitors.

Let’s start with $mrk collab

10. In short, unlike many other collabs where the smaller company pays for the study and “honor” or having a big pharma like $mrk work with them, in $COCP case, Merck is PAYING AND FINANCING everything! Rolayties, study costs and all!!!

11. So they must believe in what they are doing to be doing all that... and also look below that they are the revenue now and possibly 156 million more as it continues!

Moving to the 2nd most important drug in CORONA inhibitor/treatment & according to the MS PHD $COCP has been working on corona virus research for 10 years but as of February this year collab with Kansas State University Research foundation (Or KSURF) https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2020/02/24/1989215/0/en/cocrystal-pharma-inc-announces-license-agreement-with-kansas-state-university-research-foundation-for-norovirus-and-coronavirus-antiviral-compounds.html

13. And they are working with not just CoronaVirus inhibitors but also Norovirus as well!

That article gives more insight into their tech and discovery platform as the smarts behind this company is great! Look at the board below and they also have a Nobel peace prize winner too!

14. And lastly, they are trying to do a treatment and NOT a vaccine... the FDA relaxed the vaccine approval for corona to be at least 50 % effective...

Wait... WTF? Yes you jus read that right... they will approve a vaccine that has 50 % effectiveness... so what does that mean?

15. Means that treatments are gonna be needed for Corona for many many years even WHEN/IF we have a vaccine mid to late next year approved for mass consumption!

And here is what they plan to do... take a gander... but wait the most COMPELLING drug is go next!!! $COCP team ready?

17. So yes... they are done with phase 2 and there are rumors and whispers of talks of a M&A or collab or buyout for their Hepititus drug and look at the market share that Gilead lost between 2018-2019...

$GILD lost market share for HSV and they have Remdesivir... which means

18. How much value would $GILD find in trying to recapture the HSV market with a phase 2 passed drug AND maybe get the corona virus treatment and norovirus too???

Or Merck would be happy to get all of them as well and expand their market share across the board!!!

19. And so that is why $COCP is next up for short and long play!

1. No RH or wide visibility means it can fly with volume or PR

2. Great leadership

3. Three diff drugs that have merck and Gilead interested in possibly a M&A/more collab

I have this as a swing and long hold!
