If a man cannot own up to his mistakes and cannot be honest with you, that's not a man you fight for. If his ego is bigger than his love for you, that's not a man you fight for. If his doubts about you supercede his willingness to understand you, that's not a man you fight for.
Asking for honesty is not asking for too much. Isn't it supposed to be that way? How are you going to trust a man who will build a family with you, who will raise children with you, who will grow old with you, if he couldn't even be honest and transparent?
