"Film adaptation" screams "nostalgia cash in" to me. Wishbone belongs on Public Broadcast where he can continue to inspire kids with no hindrances to access.

If you're going to do a Wishbone reboot, make it another TV show on PBS! Maybe have a new family? Focus on a wider library of classics to include less white-Eurocentric literature! It's a great opportunity to inspire a new generation of kids to love books that reflect their lives

Also maybe make it animated so I don't have to feel sad about the fact that Soccer the Dog isn't around anymore. @larrybrantley can still voice!
