At the top of the pyramid, they have RB Leipzig. They send their best talents here to compete in the German Bundesliga and Champions League competition. If a player isn’t quite up to par they’ll be transferred out or loaned to one of their other clubs to develop.
Red Bull Salzburg is another top club in their pyramid competing in the Austrian Bundesliga. They compete in Champions league as well, but have less competiton in the league, and don’t see the financials from TV deals and Prize money that the German Bundesliga does.
Red Bull Salzburg as well as other Red Bull clubs use FC Liefering as a club to loan most young players to. The club competes in lower tiers of Austria and has been averaging a match squad age of below 20 years old, yet are seeing good results.
New York Red Bull’s and Red Bull Brasil are yet to be fully utilized, but are beginning to be transformed and used in the network to transfer players between to find their level.
Red Bull organizations have a large scouting network due to all of the connections between each other. This allows them to spot young talents early on and get them cheap.
Additionally, Red Bull knows when a player is hitting their limit. They are good at selling players at their maximum value, with most who transfer away dropping in value almost right away. This may be due to the fact that Red Bull clubs set up similar tactical systems.
Red Bull clubs like to be high press and very attacking oriented. Often scoring lots of goals and benefitting from youthful and fresh legs when pressing and running. Whenever a player transfers out, they may be put into a system that may not benefit their strengths.
