The Storm Prediction Center issued a "meso scale" (or tiny) discussion for many corn fields in Illinois and that little part of Missouri everyone forgets about. One of our balloons landed there once. It hit a cow. The farmer sent us an angry letter.

This is the National Map from all the offices. The yellow color is a tornado watch. The orange color is a heat advisory. The other orange color is a severe thunderstorm warning. Why are there two orange colors? Who thought that was a good idea? We don't abide nonsense in Podunk.
