reminiscing about the time that failed congressional candidate beth parlato found me after school and attacked me for my political beliefs as an 18 year old when she’s old and a lawyer/judge. just super classy stuff.

also the time in AP Gov when the whole class (minus 2 people) said that women shouldn’t have equal rights

or the time in bible class when my teacher said that “mental illnesses aren’t real, they’re sins” and it was supposedly “dealt with” by the school but he comes back in the next class saying, “if you see a trans person in the ‘wrong’ bathroom, you’re obligated to call them out”
