Intellectualization can sometimes be a defense mechanism or a trauma response. You can’t think your way through everything. Those spiritual urges are guiding you exactly where you need to be. You won’t have the same people around you when you arrive.
Some have already left. This isn’t limited to childhood wounds. Colleagues, friends & lovers are included. Abandonment wounds require that you learn how to show up for yourself. Prioritize your wellness.
Unlearn using other people’s feelings about you as your primary source of feedback. There’s so many other points of feedback that will help you to clear this cycle. What’s your body communicating? How is your spirit being moved? What have your ancestors had to say about this?
You must be present for this transformation. Your full participation is warranted and expected. Your spiritual supports want you to win. They want you to be happy. They want you to be well. They want you to stop denying yourself the life that you desire because of fear.
You have the agency to choose who you want to do life with. It’s okay if that person has changed or if they are no longer compatible.
How has your understanding of love & success evolved? There have been some pivotal shifts in your consciousness and it’s going to take a bit longer than you may have anticipated to integrate. No worries. This is a major part of the work. You’re practicing competence.
