is it just me, or are LGBT folks more willing to admit they're attracted to "unconventional" beauty bc their sexuality is already so heavily stigmatized no matter what they do or say that it feels like it doesn't matter?

Straight cis men have a hard time admitting to finding a woman who isn't put together like a VS model attractive out of fear of being judged by their friends, meanwhile gay & trans folks are just out here living our best lives bc you already spent the insults you had on smth else

There's also significant overlap here when you add being fat into the mix (it's oft "frowned upon" to be attracted to literally anyone when you're fat) but uhhh anyway this thread is getting way off track. S/O to fat gay trans ppl
