The task forces proposed ending for-profit immigration detention centers.

Trump claim about what they proposed: "Abolish immigration detention." 1/

The task forces proposed banning federal funding to for-profit charter schools.

Trump claim about what they proposed: "Abolish all charter schools." 2/

The task forces proposed a "goal" of net-zero emissions for all new buildings by 2030.

Trump claim: They want to "mandate" net-zero emissions...and this "basically means no windows." 3/

The task forces proposed various policing reforms, from a chokeholds ban to a new unarmed civilian corps of emergency responders that could respond to nonviolent emergencies to allow police to focus on violent crime.

Trump: "They want to abolish our police departments." 4/

The task forces proposed an end to the emergency declaration that allows Trump to seize money for his wall that was meant for other purposes.

Trump: "They're going to rip down the wall. They're taking it down." 5/

The task forces proposed an end to the 5-year minimum wait for "lawfully present" immigrants to access Medicaid and CHIP insurance.

Trump: "Sign new immigrants up for welfare immediately...United States citizens don't get what they're looking to give illegal immigrants." 6/

The task forces proposed to "appoint people committed to criminal justice reform to key prosecutorial positions," including attorney general.

Trump: They propose to "appoint social justice prosecutors in order to free violent criminals." 7/

The task forces proposed to "eliminate high-stakes standardized tests."

Trump: They proposed to "abolish educational standards." 8/

The task forces proposed a 100-day moratorium on deportations of people who were already in the United States, so that ICE and CBP can be studied and changes recommended.

Trump: They proposed to "stop all deportation." 9/

The task forces proposed to implement an Obama-era fair housing rule meant to combat racial segregation.

Trump: They are seeking to "abolish the suburbs." 10/
