(Part 1) Yet another company stealing money. I signed up for @UHC in November to cover me until January (when I would be signing up for a diff insurance company). In January they stopped my automatic payments as they said they would.
(Part 2) I get an email today that said that my automatic payment for @UHC was taken out of my account for THIS month. $97. Called my bank, & here they had started randomly taking $97 out of my account, randomly, since May. My policy was cancelled in January. Uhhh whattt??
(Part 3) I claimed the fraud & better get my $ back. The lesson that I learned is (obviously) CHECK your account monthly & always. Iâm embarrassed that I just noticed this & disappointed in companies for taking advantage of account numbers that they have. Stay safe out there
