Your attempt to make Disability into a positive by using labels like special needs, different abilities, and differently abled, does the EXACT opposite
Hi, friends! Yes, I also use Disabled children. I use PFL and IFL interchangeably, because I know being Disabled and having Disability isn’t bad. The point as you can tell is that it’s harmful to use euphemisms to avoid disability and to separate children from theirs.
If you need Person First Language to remind you that a person with a disability is still a person... then maybe you need to go reevaluate how you see disability, and then read up on what Disabled people think about Identity First Language or why some use both interchangeably.
