This is what it was all for. @OutletFangirl @BenSoloalive and I cracked it.

BEN, REY, AND ANAKIN ARE THE MORTIS GODS (at least the mortal manifestations of them) #bensololives

Ben = The Daughter, the Light
Rey = The Son, the Dark
Anakin = The Father, the balance
Anakin Being the Chosen One:

When Anakin lands on Mortis the Daughter keeps asking him ā€œAre you the one?ā€ Anakin is the Chosen One in bringing balance to the Force, but this is more specifically about the Mortis gods, who are called The Ones. Anakin is The Chosen *One*.
The Father was dying and Anakin was chosen to be the One.

The Ones guard the power, they protect the WBW, and Anakin keeps the light and the dark, Ben and Rey, in balance.

Ben, the Skywalker, is the light. And Rey, the Palpatine, is the dark.
VISUAL SYMBOLISM

In TLJ we saw the Prime Jedi symbol on Ahch-To. This is just like the Mortis symbol. The Father and Anakin are in the middle. They are represented by the Prime Jedi balancing the light and the dark, with the Daughter/Son, Ben/Rey on either side
Lucasfilm keeps giving us these images of eclipses in orbit. The Visual Dictionary tells us that the phases of Mortis is the solution to the WBW. In Rebels the Mortis gods ā€œare key to unlocking the templeā€ to the WBW. These images keep being tied to Mortis and the WBW.
Here's another eclipse
These arenā€™t representing literal eclipses. Eclipses are the lining up of the sun and the moon, the light and the dark. All of these images represent Ben (the light/sun), Rey (the dark/moon), and Anakin (the balance in the middle) ā˜€ļøšŸŒ—šŸŒ‘
All of the WBW information and images weā€™ve been given is not actually about getting Ben back, although that will be critical as well, to reunite the dyad and keep the Force in balance. But this story is so much bigger than just that.
In TROS marketing, Ben has the sun (the light) behind him. Rey has the moon (the dark).

On Mortis the planet changes immediately from day to night. The light and the dark. The sun and the moon.
This image, of poor Ben stomping off into the sunset, unfortunately symbolized his death as he ran into Exegol. Thanks Phil.
But when Vic Mahoney tweeted out the Rumi poem with the pictures of the suns, there is a sunset and sunrise. Ben will be rising. Also please read the Rumi poem and see how perfectly it represents him and Rey.
Another sunset and sunrise
ā€œHope is like the sun. If you only believe in it when you can see it. Youā€™ll never make it through the night.ā€
This doesnā€™t just refer to Ben because heā€™s Leiaā€™s son. He literally represents the sun. Ben is hope. And Rian Johnson was telling us to have hope.
"Before he was someone who has the absence of hope. The thing we started with for 'Who is Ben then?' is someone who has hope. There's no more ambiguity to what he has to do. There's no more sea sawing." - Adam Driver
BALANCE

Anakin is the Prime Jedi, heā€™s the only one that split himself in two, Vader and Anakin. Ben was never really able to destroy himself.

The saber heā€™s holding can represent the Skywalker saber; it calls to both Rey and Ben and is drawn equally between them
Rey and Ben are the Dyad. Two that are one. Light and Dark that share the Force.
Ben is literally the (grand)son of Anakin, and Rey is the other half of Benā€™s soul so that fits with the setup of the three.
The spheres in the images, the Daughter and Son, Ben and Rey, arenā€™t fully light or dark tho. They have both light and dark in them. They are each otherā€™s light and dark.
And they rotate around the one in the middle like a binary star system, keeping each other in balance. And yes that is going to be Ben telling Rey heā€™ll come back for her from the WBW.
What do we keep being told throughout the ST?
ā€œDarkness rises and Light to meet it.ā€
ā€œPowerful Light, Powerful Dark.ā€
ā€œIā€™ve seen this raw strength only once before. In Ben Solo.ā€
Rey and Ben have always been portrayed as equals and foreshadowed to balance the Force. It obviously seemed like Ben was the Dark and Rey was the Light. He was on the darkside and she was on the light. But Ben isnā€™t on the darkside anymore. And this is actually all reversed.
ā€œI warned my young apprentice that as he grew stronger his equal in the Light would rise. Skywalker, I assumed, wronglyā€ Rian is so sneaky. Snoke was wrong because Ben is the Light and Rey, his equal rising, is the Dark.
Ben is the Skywalker, who has constantly been feeling the pull to the light. Rey is the Palpatine, who keeps going to the dark.

ā€œForgive me, I feel it again. The pull to the light.ā€
Here's a great thread about Ben being light and him drowning in guilt. https://twitter.com/OutletFangirl/status/1237920907655593985?s=20
ā€œBeneath the island. A place. A dark place. Itā€™s cold. Itā€™s calling me.ā€
ā€œYou went straight to the dark. It offered something you needed and you didnā€™t even try to stop yourself.ā€
But Rey is also Benā€™s light. They are both each otherā€™s light and dark. Ben is just more light and Rey is more dark.
The Father on Mortis says they are ā€œA family in balance, the light and the dark. Day with night. Destruction replaced by creation.ā€

This is just like TLJ: Death and decay, that feeds new life. Warmth. Cold. Peace. Violence.
And between it all?
Balance and energy. A Force.
One half of the dyad cannot die without the other or it will destroy the balance

On Clone Wars after the Daughter dies the Father kills himself and has Anakin kill his son because ā€œAll is lost. The balance has been broken.ā€
Son: It did not have to be this way
Father: Yes my child it did. You and I are tied together. And your strength runs through me, this way I take your power.
Son: Please donā€™t die
Father: I always knew there was good in you
Anakin then kills the Son with his saber
Once again we learn that there is light in the Son even though he represents the dark. And they are all tied together, just like the dyad, two that are one. Rey calls it ā€œtheir powerā€
The Son canā€™t exist without the Daughter or everything is out of balance, so he has to die.
Palpatine in TROS says ā€œStand together, die together.ā€ They should only die together
The Father then continues: ā€œAnd now I died, heartbroken. But knowing the role you will play.ā€
Anakin: ā€œAnd what is that?ā€
Father: ā€œYou are the Chosen One. You have brought balance to this world. Stay on this path and you will do it again for the galaxy. But beware your heartā€
Anakin was the one to kill the Son and already brought balance in this moment. It wasnā€™t the Father. He had already taken over that role here. And it was said he would bring balance again. He will do this with Ben and Rey.
TTHE MORTIS GODS AND THE WBW

The WBW is the ā€œconduit between the living and the deadā€ and ā€œbeyond the veilā€. It connects the two planes, Realspace (the world of the living) and the Netherworld of the Force (the world of the dead)
Mortis literally means death in Latin. The Mortis gods are the gods of death.
The Mortis gods / Anakin and the dyad balance the light and the dark and life and death.
In both Rebels and Clone Wars the Daughter says: ā€œWe are the Ones that guard the power. We are the beginning, the middle, and the end.ā€ They exist across all time and protect the power of the World Between Worlds.
I donā€™t think Rey and Ben are literal reincarnations or even exactly the same thing as the gods. The gods seem to be a truly holy thing.
The dyad is a cosmic ripple (into time and space) of that power into select mortal beings, giving them a cosmically divined bond. Hence: "a power unseen for generationsā€
The Father says ā€œMy children and I can manipulate the Force like no other.ā€ Weā€™ve already seen Rey and Ben doing things through the Force weā€™ve never seen before, like passing a lightsaber between them across space. And Rey and Ben can do other things as wellā€¦
HANDS

To open the portal to the WBW Ezra has to use the Mortis painting. These hands were the key to unlocking it. The top image represents the Daughter, the middle is the Father, and the bottom is the Son. The hand positions correlate with their hands on the painting.
Ezra uses the Daughter to open the portal by lining up his hand with hers, which then causes the Father to turn his hand into the forward facing open palm position shown in the stone, and the gateway opens.
The same thing happens to close the portal. Ezra now touches the sonā€™s fist, and the Father moves his hand into position to close it.
We learn that ā€œIf the Daughter opens the gateway, the Son would close it.ā€ I believe the Daughter opening it and the Son closing it was specific only to the Lothal Temple painting, and that either can open the WBW, but then the other has to close it. Balance.
How does this apply to Rey and Ben?

The open palm facing sideways of the Daughter represents Light, the fist of the Son represents Dark
These hand positions can be symbolic.

Ben makes fists all the time whenever he is angry, representing the Dark.

Rey and Benā€™s hands mimic the Daughter/the Light whenever theyā€™re reaching towards each other. Ben also keeps offering Rey his hand. We see it visually.
And then TROS puts emphasis on it verbally as well ā€œWhen I offer you my hand again, youā€™ll take itā€
ā€œI did want to take your hand. Ben's hand.ā€
When Ben saved Rey itā€™s with his open hand, the light. And when she finally takes his hand these two are in alignment, like an eclipse.
But the hand positions have a more literal meaning as well. When we meet the Son on Mortis, the first thing we see of him is him making this fist, before even seeing his face.
Rey in the cave on Ahch-To makes a fist just like this. This is right before she is transported down the line of multiple Reys, where she now reaches out to touch the mirror and sees Ben on the other side in the WBW. This motion is the Darkā€™s connection to the WBW.
Rey also sees into the WBW on Exegol when saying ā€œbe with meā€. And guess what position her hand is in when it opens up for her? A fist. Ben and Rey have the power to open and close the WBW.
And she still has that fist when fighting Palpatine. She was channeling all the Jedi through the WBW.
When heā€™s on Mortis Anakin also opens the WBW and we see him do his symbol of reaching his hands towards the sky.
In TFA:

Anakin being the Father is why his saber calls to Rey. Rey also hears her own voice from the past at this moment. This is because of her connection to the WBW, which exists across all time and space. Anakin is a vergence in the Force and his saber acts as one for Rey.
Similarly, when Rey and Ben are near a vergence they many times hear whispering voices, it happens in both TLJ and TROS. This is exactly what Ezra hears when he unlocks the Mortis painting in Rebels.
Starkiller Base drew all of its energy from the sun until it was drained and then used as a weapon. This is just like what Palpatine did to Ben, draining his light, the sun, and turning him into a weapon.
From TLJ:

When their hands touch and they see visions of the other person, Ben sees Reyā€™s dark past of being left by her parents. Rey sees Benā€™s light future.
Ben and Rey are fighting over the saber similarly to the Daughter and Son fighting in this shot. They are even on the correct sides to parallel this image. And directly between Ben and Rey is Anakin(ā€˜s lightsaber)
During the battle on Crait when Ben seems to be lost Leia says ā€œThe galaxy has lost all its hope. The spark is out.ā€ and ā€œI held out hope for so long. I know my sonā€™s gone.ā€
Ben = hope/son/sun/light
Rian went hard with that one.
From The Rise of Kylo Ren:

When Ben turns to the dark, Rey feels it across their bond. And she feels cold. Because Ben is her light/the sun.
Letā€™s talk more things from TROS:

When Ben triggers the first Force connection where they each see the visions, he is touching Vaderā€™s mask. He is using Anakin to connect them.
The first Force bond:

The sky gets dark around Rey, just like the sky turns quickly from light to dark on Mortis. We now see Rey wearing white, surrounded by darkness. Ben is wearing black, but surrounded by the white of his room. This mimics the Prime Jedi and Mortis symbols.
Rey is able to shoot Force lightning because she is the Dark, like the Son.

When Rey first enters Benā€™s quarters she is immediately drawn to Anakinā€™s mask. This now explains Benā€™s pull to his grandfather this whole time.
Hereā€™s Rey and Ben with the Vader mask between them. The Father between the Son and the Daughter.
Rey and Ben are seen circling each other several times, orbiting around one another.
This is just like all the eclipse images that weā€™ve been seeing this entire time. The light and dark orbiting around a central point.
Ben takes off his mask right before reaching out his hand for Rey. Remember the open hand reaching out is symbolic of the light.
In TFA when Ben saw Han, he was surrounded by darkness with only a stream of light, coming directly from Rey. In TROS when heā€™s with Han we see him surrounded by the light.
Palpatine tells them ā€œthe lifeforce of your bond. A power like life itself.ā€ They balance life and death.

Ben transfers his lifeforce into Rey to save her life. This parallels the Daughter transferring her lifeforce into Ahsoka on Mortis. Complete selflessness.
And then at then at the end of TROS when Rey is on Tatooine we are given this shot of the twin suns. And we are literally shown that the suns are rising. Symbolically sunrises represent the start of a new adventure, but in this case it also represents Ben rising.
Ben and Rey are referred to as a prophesized dyad because they are part of The Chosen One prophecy. They are the light and the dark, and Anakin is the balance in the middle.
