Do you believe in Destiny? Coincidence? Intuition? #Jung had a name for that: #Synchronicity. For example: he believed that if 2 (or 7 ) people are meant to meet, the universe will guide them to finally meet in the future. In this life and the next one. A thread:

One of the reasons Carl Jung wrote the #RedBook is because he dreamed about WWI. He felt he could (not see but) FEEL the future. [This is related to the Collective Unconscious and archetypes I talked before].

Just like #Taehyung in the SAVE ME WebToon, for example. This could be an example of #Synchronicity. The universe is telling you something:

#Synchronicity could explain why #Taehyung (and #Jungkook?) know what’s going to happen but this could also be explained by time traveling and Paralelle universes too.

Carl Jung defines " #synchronicity" as "a significant coincidence of 2 or more events in which more than just random probability is involved”. Let me explain it better through a movie I really love (and I think @BTS_twt got some inspiration from): I Origins.

“I Origins” starts with a human eye And explaining how our eyes are unique and how 2 people can’t have the same eyes. How our eyes hold the entire universe and how they could be the door of the soul. Sounds familiar? It starts just like DNA @BTS_twt

Let’s see how #Synchronicity works. In the movie, a man is trying to find a girl with strange eyes (she has Central heterochromia: 2 different eyes colors) he met a few days before one night but he can’t find her.

Then this happens. Long story short: the number 11 helps him finding the eyes he’s looking for aka the girl he’s looking for. This looks very random and feels like it’s a coincidence but in Jungian #Psychology this is called #Synchronicity.

And here are some little details I found that reminded me of @BTS_twt and the BU (not important for this thread):
That man always uses his camara to get photos of human eyes (he’s a scientist studying them).
One of the mouses he experiments with is called Euphoria ().

Both characters feel like they know each other (from past lives).
The girl believes in Reincarnation. She keeps telling him that she’ll find him in her next life too (since he’s a scientist he doesn’t believe in that).

I’ll stop right here ‘cause I don’t want to spoil the movie but the thing is that I’m sure @BTS_twt are using #Synchronicity or got inspired by this to write #DNA or #Serendipity, for example. And also the little details we’ve seen in the BU.

Another “easy” and creepy example of #Synchronicity are the movies “Final Destination”. The main characters have a vision of their deaths (and the people surrounding them) and then (after that happens and the avoid deat*h) they keep seeing signs that warns them.

A “fake” example of #Synchronicity could be @BTS_twt hints. Like when Hobi posted about #HYYH songs he was listening to or Jimin yesterday talking about thunder and then they posted in the Smeraldo blog. I think they tried to “imitate” how this concept works

Like a:

“I (the universe) can’t tell you what’s going to happen but let me give you a few hints or show you the way to your destiny”. More or less.

[If that’s what they meant, I think it’s so cute ]. It’s just interpreting signs from the Universe, let’s say.

“Experiencing multiple coincidences in your path may seem like you are getting strong signs from the universe; like it’s definitely trying to get you to pay attention to something.” @BTS_twt

[I may be going too far but, for example, for @BTS_twt the numbers 7 and 13 are important. We’ve seen this several times, right? These are important numbers for them. According to Jung this could be an example of #Synchronicity too, I think. Let me know your thoughts! ]

Examples of “real” #Synchronicity in the BU and @BTS_twt mvs could be:
The butterfly Jin always sees.
Dreaming about something and then coming it to reality.
Looking at an old photo and getting a weird feeling, like a “bad vibe”.
Getting a weird feeling.

Again, I’m not sure about this (I’m prefer the cat paradox and time traveling theories we have) but I wanted to share this with you since Jung truly believed in this and I’ve seen some similarities with the BU and @BTS_twt. Hope you liked it!
