I'm not an expert in this regard but today I'm going to make a thread Concerning Elamant.

I have encountered several People claiming that old receipts are valuable.

A Thread!!
What is ELAMANT?

It is a membership club which specializes in point of sale (POS) data collection (in the form of receipts).
Why point of sale data?

Elamant sell the data to manufactures, investors, advertisers, govt, etc where they can use this data for market research.
Where do Elamant get the receipts?

Elamant get the receipts by engaging with people who pay Elamant 100 ($99 USD) and start to collect receipts and upload them to Elamant monthly and Elamant pays you $200 every month

You pay so that they make you look for receipts ?😂
Which job demands you to pay 100USD (99USD) membership fee so that you can start working for them?

Changamuka iwe musoro bhangu, hakuna basa rakadaro.
Participants should collect receipts worth 1000, Elamant will pay you 200USD. Then you have to pay the membership fee again! However that can be waived if you recruit 3 people.

The money earned comes from subscriptions of new recruits. NOT OLD RECEIPTS!
Supermarkets use electronic point of sale system which do the following:
Monitor & Control stock
Perform sales analysis
Collect customer data etc

If Elamanat were genuine they were supposed to just liase with the supermarket to get information of which items are selling fast
The reason they make people do the collection of receipts is because they want to hide their Pyramid scheme. It's just a facade! They are hiding the actual nature of their business. It would be easier to realise its a scheme if they tell you to just recruit others.
In reality is not about old receipts. Its about recruiting new people.

However there is a time were it will impossible to recruit new entrants.

That's when the scheme crashes!
