Also I will use this thread to remind everyone they killed Optimus Prime in the first 10 mins of the 1985 movie to make way for the new toy line. Parents were so pissed cause their kids were traumatized they wrote Hasbro letters and they had to bring him back!

They were making a GI Joe movie at the time and they killed Duke. They had to add a scene at the very end when someone says “Dukes gonna make it” so they wouldn’t get the same reaction.
