So if you told me "Kafkaesque Nightmare" would be the experience that Apple provided me when I was in a crisis and needed a quick and sure response for iPhone trouble, I probably would have laughed and called you an irrational "hater" @AppleSupport
But here I am, on a deadline day with decade-level significance, and I go to get my iPhone serviced at @BestBuy, and I get refused. Why? "'Find my iPhone' is still on." What? Sure, I'll go ahead and turn it off. ON MY PHONE THAT ISN'T WORKING!!!
I mean seriously, what the hell is this nonsense @AppleSupport @BestBuy? You should have just accepted the phone for repair.
If this is actually a barrier to service, you need to issue the following warning with EVERY service appt.: "Please verify that 'Find My iPhone' is deactivated for this device before submitting it for service." Otherwise you are committing malpractice. @AppleSupport @BestBuy
Sorry, that should instead go to @BestBuySupport. Please look at this thread @BestBuySupport, your processes for iPhone repair intake badly need repair themselves.
