The best and worst signings from the past couple of years in the prem. This is just my opinion.

(A thread)
Arsenal
Best - Imo Alexis was arsenal's best player, he was a known big game player, prolific goalscorer and creative aswell.

Worst-Luiz is Arsenal's worst signing, they payed 7 mil for this guy and it's possibly the worst 7 mil ever spent in football. Man's a walking accident.
Aston Villa

Best - Mings is Villa's best signing recently, he's already played for England and has shown that he has composure on and off the pitch.

Worst - Sammata has been the worst imo, he's only got 1 goal and for almost 10 mil that's not worth it.
Bournemouth

Best - Ake has been consistent over the years at Bournemouth and has been their best player

Worst - Lord Solanke is definitely their worst signing. They payed 20 mil for a guy who didn't score a goal in over 40 games.
Brighton

Best - Signing wise Tariq Lamptey is the best for money, 2 mil for him is a steal he looks really promising and will shine in the future.

Worst - Maupay. Massive fraud.
Burnley

Best - Tarkowski, solid center back their captain and should be starting more for England.

Worst - Danny Drinkwater. They were paying around 5 million in wages for this guy😭 i don't know how he's employed by a club.
Chelsea

Best - Kante. The best CDM in the world.

Worst - Danny Drinkwater again. 40 million for a guy who plays like an 8 year old kid. Kepa was a close second but Drinkwater is worse.
Crystal Palace

Best - Zaha is a baller, he's single handedly carried Palace abd us by far their best player.

Worst - Benteke. 6 goals in 3 years for a striker. Enough said.
Everton

Best - Richarlison is Everton's best player by far he's looked like the one bright spark in the Everton team.

Worst - Iwobi. He cost them the same as Richarlison. That should say it all.
Leicester

Best - Vardy has been with Leicester through it all, and even win the league with them. Club Legend.

Worst - None. Any club that can get 130 million from selling Harry Maguire and Danny Drinkwater knows how to do business.
Liverpool

Best - It was close but salah just edges it for me. Chasing a third golden boot in a row salah might be one of the best signings in premier history.

Worst - Lovren. Another walking accident.
Man City

Best - Kdb probably the best midfielder in the world. For 55 million that's a steal.

Worst - Mangala was bought for around 40 mil and sold him for free dfkm.
Man United

Best - Bruno has been influential for United winning back to back POTM'S and taking them from 5th to 5th. Can't wait to see him at Arsenal.

Worst - Alexis. He was on 500k a week and his biggest achievement at man utd was playing the piano.
Newcastle

Best - Ben Afra another baller. The streets will never forget.

Worst - Joelinton, just a flop tbh. Waste of 40 million.
Norwich

Best - Their best player is probably buendĂa. 1 million they payed for him and he's showing great potential.

Worst - I don't know. they haven't made any distinctive signings or ones that I know enough about so lmk any.
Southampton

Best - It's between VVD and mane but big virg wins it for me. Solid defender at the time and now he's the best defender itw.

Worst - Guido Carrilo. You've probably haven't heard of him. 20 million for a guy who played 7 games and got 0 goals.
Spurs

Best - Son, he's been consistent over the years and he only cost them 22 million. Absolute bargain.

Worst - Soldado, 7 goals in 2 seasons 4 of which were from the penalty spot. Waste of 30 million,
Watford

Best - Lord Sarr. He made Liverpool look like man city before the oil money.

Worst - Isaac Success. Watford bought him for 13 million as a 20 year old. But he never lived up to his potential not even breaking 10 goals in England.
West Ham

Best - Payet was another player the streets won't forget he could score and assist and was deadly from freekicks.

Worst - Roberto, this don is possibly the worst goalkeeper the prem has ever seen. You know he's bad when I'm putting him on this thread and he was free😭
Wolves

Best - Jimenez is an out and out striker and has proven himself as one of the best strikers itl

Worst - Cutrone left his boyhood club AC Milan to play for wolves only to get loaned back seria a where he's underperformed.
End of thread. I wasn't 100% sure for some of the teams so lmk who you would change. Rt's appreciated, this took around 3 hours to write.
