This is what I've been thinking about lately: Sidney makes a lot of progress towards abandoning the patriarchy in #Sanditon, which I believe starts with the cricket match. However, he's not totally there yet by the end of Season 1.
He should have involved C in his decision-making process re how to #SaveSanditon but instead makes a unilateral decision and breaks both their hearts in the process. Plus at the ball, he's super-dismissive towards Georgiana and her quite legitimate concerns re Charlotte.
I predict that #SanditonSeason2 will involve extricating Sid from the patriarchy entirely now that he realizes that being controlled and powerless SUCKS. (Duh, Sid). Bring it on!
