This is a good question. A lot of people think of educational activities as having to take place in a formal setting. But there are plenty of opportunities throughout the day where you can make something educational while it remains informal. https://twitter.com/AsiaChloeBrown/status/1283218099190325248
For instance? Let's say you enjoy playing strategy games and there is a child you know/respect who is also interested in said strategy game.

You can give them about 30 minutes a day where you play on multi-player mode and have them discuss WHY they are doing what they're doing.
Plenty of us are interested in botany & horticulture (Plant Baes, where y'all at?). That is quite literally ACTUAL Science.

Clip a few leaves from a plant you're proud of. Gift them to a child or a few children. Have them keep a journal of what they notice day by day. SCIENCE!
Do you like to cook? Do you know a child who is always in the kitchen with you? Well, there you go. That's Math AND Science. Take two days out of the week to have a cooking class. You can do it virtually if the child is not around you.
Do you know a child/children who love to read, illustrate, narrate, or whatever? Introduce a multimedia project.

You have a child who has expressed a disinterest in the reading list a school gave them? Have them read the books and then do a revision on a lesser known character.
You know younger children? Coordinate with their parents for color days and number days. When you talk to them (not in baby speak), reinforce the number and color of the day by asking them about it.
I'm a Professional Auntie, Y'all. I have over 19 nieces and nephews (not even counting my great nieces and nephews). I have ZERO children of my own. But I help to reinforce what they learn when I communicate with them.

If you are INTERESTED IN HELPING? Communicate.
Education does not have to take the form of sitting down with a book and doing rote memory exercises. That's all @AsiaChloeBrown was asking. What can you do if you're interested in helping?
