as soon as y'all grasp that nonbinary isn't a ~third gender~ maybe nonbinary lesbians will know peace

every argument i've ever read is just "well if ur not a woman u can't be a lesbian" u do not understand how heteronormative the gender binary is

i just woke up and genuinely cannot find the words to explain just how deep this goes but i'm so tired of randoms not knowing what they're talking about

and it's so different for every. single. person. how do u just lump together all nonbinary people

the binary gender system is completely arbitrary. and some people find great comfort in that system and that's wonderful!! but acting like everyone has to identify with one side or the other is so restrictive and BORING
