After using Peacock a little, have to say its channel section is something all services should have.

Why? Because it kills the paradox of choice. If I want to watch a certain episode of SNL, I can, but if I just want random sketches on without worrying about it, I have that too.
One of the biggest complaints with streaming is that users spend seemingly hours trying to find something to watch. Gone are the days of just stumbling upon something on cable.

I mean I found so many films as a kid by stumbling upon them on cable. This can bring that back.
Imagine if Disney had a Marvel channel that was just Marvel movies playing randomly 24/7 or if HBO Max had a Friends channel or if CBS All Access had a channel playing music videos all day long (they could call it MTV!).

I still want to make my own choices, but this helps.
I ultimately think streaming's future is mixing old with new. People obviously want to have control, but also to not have it.

I know others have done channel sections (hello, PlutoTV), but Peacock is the first major service to really go it, and I think it helps them stand out.
