Except in this case it wasn't just excluding don't knows (there was no don't know option) - it excludes 30% who picked the neither agree/disagree mid-point in a five point scale

(I should point out that the National do say in the text they've excluded don't knows. Obviously this isn't accurate, but at least there is there is recognition of what they are up to)
