You've seen me advocating for a mostly-online fall. MOSTLY. We can do it really well for most students (if we start now or already started). And it's also true that some students will need f2f. That's why I just have to keep calling BS on people using equity as the reason to bring everyone back. Because by bringing everyone back, you're threatening the probability that the students who most need f2f will get to stay.

&, I do wish we'd think more deeply about the idea that online isn't for everyone. What we're really saying is that we didn't teach students how to succeed online. It's a skill, like anything else. If we can teach them (and fac) to do it well, & keep them safe, isn't that ideal?
