dance analysis of jin from black swan performances - a mini thread

#진 #JIN #석진 @BTS_twt
let& #39;s start off where he enters the stage; note how he glides across the stage smoothly & then later hits his chest right on the beat.

this move alone shows jin having two of the dynamic qualities of movement - his body going from percussive to sustained.

we can see his sharp moves in sync with the beat & then his body moves in a slow, continuous way.
here it& #39;s actually impressive how much control jin has over his body, his moves are smooth as always.

he has a commanding presence on stage here esp. bec of his height - his proportional body creates a visually pleasing image when he lifts his leg (yes he has very long legs)
another great example of the dynamic qualities i talked abt previously - this is one of my favorite parts of the choreography bec it& #39;s visible how much power he can exhibit at will.

his control is amazing, the way he& #39;s carrying out this move makes it very visually pleasing
expressions play a key role in dance performances - you can see how charismatic a performer is thru their expressions.

“A dancer dies twice – once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful" is the message of the song & his painful expression shows that
- on multiple occasions i was amazed at his balance (I& #39;ll make a compilation later)

- jin is at an advantage also bec of his height (I& #39;ll make a thread)

- his expressions are always on point (I& #39;ll make a compilation)

- overall, I& #39;ll discuss abt his stage presence too
