Ace had to deal with their parents degrading & beating. Thus, causing them to doubt themself and look towards an end. This is why they were willing to 'help'

Meanwhile at school, basic school bullying happening.
All that happening? They started to harm themself due to it all. They have scars littering where others can not easily see them.

It was the one person that helped Ace stop all that. Getting Ace out of it and moving far from the home town. That one person taught Ace cooking and baking, despite being the same age. This is why Ace loves making Cinnamon buns and apple scones.

I originally planned on pairing Ace with Asmo, but it switched to Beel, then to Lucifer, and now it's all 3. Maybe 4 if I learn more about Diavolo... But there is an AU where Ace ends up with all the brothers.
