One reason I don't have my actual name/occupation on twitter is that I would have to drastically limit political opinions I express. Not because they are objectionable in themself but because of my employer's social media policies.

Which are perfectly legal and normal. We get regular warnings about not posting on certain topics that could be associated with work. So my choice is be pseudonymous or be bland.

So I'm sick of whining about cancel culture. You are just experiencing the same treatment as the rest of us little people but your massive ego thinks you're special and should be exempt.
