The key question for the event is what VR/AR mean in the context of theatre. We know all the brilliant things they can do in general for shared, immersive audience experiences, etc., but we still can look further forward to see how they can be properly integrated in theatre –

– and indeed how theatre might stretch the boundaries of the technology.
