A thread on Man city and why pep deserves credit for what he has done

1. A lot of people say that money buys Manchester City trophies but which big clubs in Europe aren't spending money?? Barcelona , Madrid ,PSG,Juventus have all spend huge money but aren't successful in playing the brand of football that pep has managed to play at Man city !

2.If you look closely they haven't signed players who are in their prime like madrid and barca have done with the likes of Griezmann and hazard who were already stars. Pep signs young players and makes them better.

3 . Take Laporte as an example ! He was a Centre back who was scouted by city from Athletic Bilbao and look at the impact he has created in the Man city's defence ! Surely Laporte wasn't a star before joining city but Pep has developed him into one of the best cbs in the world

4.The likes of Sterling , Jesus ,Mahrez ,Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho were massively improved by pep and these players have been transformed into world class players under pep.

5. Finally I just want to say that yes pep spends money as do a lot of managers of other big clubs but for the brand of football pep plays and for the way he has developed good players into world class players Pep deserves utmost respect !!
