@michelledonelan responds that part-time students can now access maintenance loans, and calls on the sector to invest more in part-time learning as a tool for social mobility

@michelledonelan responds that a regime will launch soon, but restructuring is a last resort with conditions attached.
@halfon4harlowMP says level 6 and 7 apprenticeships starts have risen - but that is still a tiny number compared to students choosing the academic route. There was previously a degree apprenticeships fund - Will the Department consider another round of this funding?
On degree apprenticeships, @michelledonelan replies to @halfon4harlowMP that it's disappointing that not more universities offer them. The Government response to the Augar review will contain mechanisms for incentivising degree apprenticeships.
@halfon4harlowMP asks about the decline in the number of nursing degree apprenticeships.

@michelledonelan says she expects an increase in the number of students looking to study nursing. She says a wider look at the challenges facing apprenticeships in general is needed.
