So that new Stephen Lawrence programme for ITV is being written by two white men too?

Added to A Suitable Boy, and I’m sitting here thinking, what opportunities are there for screenwriters of colour?
Everyone keeps going on about diversity, how I May Destroy You is the show of the year, and yet these two big shows... entrusted to white men.
It’s so ridiculous. On a personal note, and I know this is much bigger than me, I’ve woken up to a message from my agent about a script knockback because the ‘idea is too small’.
But again, I don’t want to make this about two screenwriters and two shows. I want to make this about the entire industry. So my questions are as follows:
Who is making the decisions about what gets made?
Who decides who has enough experience for these bigger shows?
Who is on your team saying, maybe this isn’t good?
How serious are you about representation on our screens?
Your entry level schemes are great, but what are you doing to ensure those who have been trying to get stuff made for decades are given a shot?
Have you analysed the language you use to reject screenwriters of colour?
Have you ever said ‘we’re doing too many Asian shows this year so we can’t do another one’?
What % of your staff who decide what shows get made are not white?

Some answers please.
