Remember when @Barnaby_Joyce paid $80m for water from a company founded by @AngusTaylorMP, after the @DeptAgNews had bargained the price *up*?

Auditor General report out TOMORROW. https://twitter.com/BenOquist/status/1283222907192143873
This all began with @MaryanneSlatte1 and my report on the purchase, showing the:
"original asking price was $2,200/ML. @DeptAgNews displayed Pythonesque haggling skills and paid a final price of $2,745/ML." https://www.tai.org.au/content/thats-not-how-you-haggle
If you don't get the Python gag, it's this scene where Brian won't haggle for his beard.
But there was so much more, like the $78 million paid to Chris Corrigan's Webster Ltd, including $40m in compo that *no one* else in the Basin has received. https://www.tai.org.au/content/ill-have-what-theyre-having
Surely you got this gag, but here's the link for old times' sake.
Yet another multi million purchase by Water Minister @Barnaby_Joyce, but this time at TWICE the earlier price that **HE** had criticised, saying such purchases had "no effect whatsoever".

Who could forget @hamishNews's report on this for @theprojecttv with @MaryanneSlatte1 , @MichaelWestBiz and @GraftonQuentin.
Anyway, tomorrow is a big day for transparency and accountability in our biggest river system.
While you wait, grab some popcorn and read our full submission to the @ANAO_Australia. https://www.tai.org.au/content/submission-procurement-strategic-water-entitlements
