(1) My father was let go from his job as a warehouse manager from a company whose name I'd rather not say for the sake of privacy, a move I found quite deplorable due to my father having been injured on the job shortly before being let go and said injury was not his fault.
(2) We tried seeking legal help but it did not go the way we had hoped. The money my father got from his severance is starting to dry up and due to a combination of my father's age and physical condition (injuries to the back and legs that cause severe pain)
(3) no place that he has applied to has called him back about getting a new job. I still hold disdain to my father's ex-employer as he was a loyal and hard working employee for them for nearly 25 years and they suddenly let him go when he was injured on the job.
(4) I happen to live with my father as I am a person with autism and crippling depression/anxiety (of which I take medication to combat the worst of it), so the issue with the money starting to dry up affects the both of us. The whole thing has left me feeling utterly hopeless.
(5) One of the only hopes we have now is a GoFundMe campaign I have set up in hopes some kind souls will be willing to help my father and I no longer be at risk of losing our home. The money will not only pay off the entire mortgage but also help greatly with medical expenses.
(6) As much as I wish this didn't sound like something of a "sappy cliche," if you can find it in your heart to please help a disabled jobless father and his autistic son to keep their home and live a peaceful life, please consider donating to the GoFundMe campaign in the bio.
