Nepotism sometimes backfires. Rohan Gavaskar was expected to bat just like his father, Arjun Tendulkar will face the same pressure, if he plays international cricket.

But there is one guy who has been a major victim of nepotism going wrong. And that’s Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek was born to an illustrious father, an accomplished mother and married an iconic woman and the fellow has been trolled for being a failure.

I consider Abhishek Bachchan a superb actor, an actor I said, born to a hero father, the biggest Btown hero of all times

Abhishek Bachchan is a good actor who has chosen bad movies right at the start of his career. When the initial hype was over, he was trashed.

But the truth remains that he is a remarkable performer. Be it Sarkar where he outshone his father, Yuva and of course Guru.

I saw some reviews of #Breathe on Twitter and Facebook, people trolling him mercilessly for I don’t know what. As a major cinema buff, who has watched close to 5000 movies or maybe more, I consider his performance nothing short of iconic. He simply lived the character.
Obviously fans are prone to biases but I have never really considered myself an Abhishek Bachchan fan. An admirer may be. I believe AB turned a completely nonsensical story line into a thriller that moves at a breakneck pace.
Abhishek Bachchan needs to be analysed without pre conceived notions. That goes for the movie critics as well as social media critics like me. As for me, I am really looking forward to #TheBigBull after watching his riveting performance in Breathe.

Oh and wish him and Big B, a super speedy recovery. Also I hope Big B starts opening his mouth on matters that are killing the industry, he so fondly loves.
