When I think about Jeff Sessions I think about this great anecdote about Steve Jobs

Whenever someone was promoted to VP at Apple, Jobs would sit them down, and explain the difference between being a VP and being a janitor

He'd ask them to imagine the janitor coming in one morning, explaining that he hadn't been able to clean the office because he was locked out

For a janitor, that's a perfectly good reason to fail to achieve an objective, because they are just a janitor

But for VPs, there are no good reasons for failing to achieve an objective

Same for Jeff Sessions

He was the Attorney General, and under his watch the Department of Justice was hijacked and turned against President Trump

There are no good reasons for that to have happened

If Sessions were an executive at a private company, and he ran his division the way he ran DOJ, he would have been fired within six months

Because no one wants to hear excuses
