someone really just said i should be ashamed of the skill level my art is at for being so old??? i’m 23??? also.. why does it matter..?! don’t let ppl shame you for getting into a hobby later in life. you can be a beginner at 25 years old and that’s perfectly okay

i appreciate the concern but i’m completely content with where my art is at and i’m proud of how far i’ve come. i think it’s important to have an open discussion about things like this though because i’ve seen it before and skill and age don’t go hand in hand
