Normalize supporting everything your kids do. Not only because you want them to explore and not feel restricted but mainly because showing signs of uninterest likely results in the child identifying success as life value.

We grow up being shit on by our parents and then watch them idolize hard work and success only to identify their praise as love. Making us search for their acceptance and love by working ourselves to the absolute bone at early ages which results in depression and self hate

We want love and only see it happen towards people who have success in life and it’s agonizing to watch it constantly. Break the cycle. Life has way more value than what you succeed at in the work place.
