Some people work really hard to misunderstand &/or misrepresent gendercrit. Our view is simple. 1) SEX exists & is morally neutral; we need to retain words for female people (girls/women) & male people (boys/men). 2) SEXISM is bad, let's stop that.
It really does seem like an awful lot of PhDs either do not understand the difference between sex & sexism, or think that sexism just *naturally arises* from the existence of sex, so feminism requires we all pretend sex doesn't exist.
It's breathtakingly absurd.
It's breathtakingly absurd.
"GCs/Radfems want to dominate people, they want to limit expression, blah blah." We're saying the opposite: men should be allowed any personality, & women should be allowed any personality, & the only reason that's not currently the case is that male supremacy requires otherwise.
But we've been explaining this for years & years, & still they lie about us. Therefore it's hard to dismiss as a good-faith misunderstanding. I think it's more of a conscious decision to support male supremacy in its new rainbow sparkle guise, whether from cowardice or greed.
