in november 2019, iranians came to the streets to protest the 300% increase of the fuel prices, and asking for regime change. the protests were peaceful at first, until the IRGC and police came and started arresting and shooting the protesters.
people were recording and sharing the videos of the protests on social media and the gov shutdown the Internet nationwide, which resulted in a internet blackout for a week.
the IRGC shot protesters dead from rooftops, helicopters, and at close range with machine gun fire. around 1500 protesters were killed during these protests. at least 17 of them were teenagers.
security forces also attacked different cemeteries around Iran to prevent the families, of those killed in November protests, from holding ceremonies in honour of the death of their loved ones. some of the mourners were arrested and taken away.
these protests eventually became the most violent and severe anti-government protest since the rise of Iran's Islamic Republic in 1979.
this a video from Sattar Khan, Tehran, not clear which day of protests.
