thread of reasons merlin twt has issues with bradley james

disclaimer: this thread is not meant to “cancel” bradley james. many ppl ask why merlin twt dislikes him and this is simply a way to provide all the info on him and allow ppl to make their own judgements.

it should be noted that bradley has not publicly apologized for any of this and has not shown a change in behavior.

in this clip bradley slutshames gwen and makes rude comments about angel's physical appearance. he enjoyed kissing his white female costar (georgia) and called another hot (katie) but then makes these comments about the only woc on the show.

in this clip bradley claims that a same gender romance would be "too much" for merlin (a family show).

in this interview bradley says arthur should've had a few flings with other women before he ended up with gwen. meanwhile he slutshamed gwen for having a few other love interests before she ended up with arthur.

bradley james was in an episode of homeland, a show that is racist and islamophobic. homeland perpetuates the stereotype that all muslim people are terrorists.

gideon raff was one of the producers for homeland and he was also the director of the red sea diving resort, a zionist film starring chris evans.

bradley posted medici fanart on his insta without giving credit. when ppl commented tagging the artist (mary luis) he disabled the comments. when ppl started tweeting him abt it he deleted the post altogether instead of crediting the artist. this happened in february of 2019.

during march of 2020 bradley made a video where he read tweets about himself. he did not read the @ for any of the tweets except for a negative tweet about him. he repeats the @ twice so his fans could easily find and harass the person who tweeted smth negative abt him.

in june of 2020 bradley posted a black square on insta. this was his only post regarding the black lives matter movement and many black ppl have called out the black square post as being performative activism.

when ppl commented asking bradley to post links that would actually help the movement bradley instead disabled comments on his post. he also ignored all tweets abt blm despite being active on twt at the time.
