People who write
"it/its pronouns are dehumanizing"
are ALMOST there with what many of my it/its friends have told me
but then they veer off to
"... therefore no trans people can use them for themselves."

Not all it/its people feel this way but:
All of them are WELL AWARE of the purported dehumanization of it/its pronouns. They don't need some cis person to concern-troll about it.
For many of them, the dehumanizing is a FEATURE, not a bug.

I'm not saying this applies to all it/its users.
But many who I've talked to say that separation from humanity -- specifically to human concepts of gender -- is why they chose those pronouns.
Being seen as or treated as human is NOT desirable, for many people.

For example, "robot" or "android" are perfectly good self-chosen gender identities that I fully support -- and they usually have an implication of separation from humanity involved in those gender IDs.
The same applies to many people who choose it/its pronouns.

There are many other reasons, of course, to choose it/its pronouns -- reclamation, for example. Or just a simple genderfuck.
(Old-fashioned genderfucking needs to come back into vogue. It's where your gender is not just self-ID but a middle finger to cisnormativity.)

If you use it/its pronouns and none of these reasons I named apply to you, that's great too!
I love you and support you and will fight for you, no matter what your reasons for your pronoun choices.
And you are of course welcome to reply!
