1. Lead

A lead is someone you haven’t even talked to yet, but is similar to the people who have bought from you.

Leads are the audience you build by your brand in your profile.

Leads are the people who see your sales tweets https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👍" title="Thumbs up" aria-label="Emoji: Thumbs up">

2. Prospect

A prospect is someone who clicked on your link. So when we look at analytics and you see “link clicks” those are your prospects.

Calculate a percentage of link clicks to impressions and you’ll be able to track how certain tweets do.

3. Qualified prospect

These are the people who are reading your sales page.

You’ve established
-Their need
-Your solution
-Their interest

Your gumroad sales page or the products you affiliate for have to be QUALITY or those will never make it to the next step.

4. Committed.

These are the people who are sold by the sales page or by you in the dms.

They click that “I Want This” button and you get the notification.

The hardest part is getting them from step 3-4. Once they’re committed you’ll close most of your sales.

5. Transacted.

Simply means that the sale has been completed.

This is the step we all want to get to, but most lose their way between 3-4.

So I’m going to add some thoughts on how to not have our funnel be “leaky “.

What are the problems between 3-4?

1. Red flags
-You haven’t assured the buyer of either the results or quality of the product
-You’ll have this when you don’t have the results to show or experience to share
-People struggle with this most in the dms or with bad products

2. Not enough incentive
-Some products we sell are high ticket value and you need to add something to sweeten the pot.
-Offer your FREE service or product if you have one
-Ask for a discount code from the creator and use it only if necessary.
