BTS and what positions they would play in volleyball! a thread by me, retired setter and current bts stan

Kim Namjoon - captain, middle blocker

- As the leader of BTS, he’s definitely the captain of the team
- He’s good at being BTS’s defensive shield and sticking up for them and armys in interviews. because of this I think he’d be a great middle blocker

Kim Seokjin - middle blocker, pinch server

- He would be a great middle blocker because he’s very confident and knows how to stand up for himsef
- I also think he would be a great pinch server because he’s a reliable member of BTS that the boys can always count on

Min Yoongi - setter

- Setters are the playmakers of the team. Their job is to run the team’s attacks; it’s important for them to have good communication skills. I think Yoongi is perfect for this because he knows the ins and outs of all the boys and is very analytical.

Jung Hoseok - vice captain, outside hitter

- The boys say that Hobi is like the second leader so he’d be a great vice captain!
- Outside hitters are usually the most consistent spikers on the team and are counted on to spike the most, and Hobi is always consistent in his talents

Park Jimin - libero

- Liberos are responsible for making sure the ball doesn’t hit the court. They have to be fast and flexible enough to cover a lot of ground and quick-thinking; most of them tend to be on the shorter side. Jimin embodies all these qualities well.

Kim Taehyung - opposite hitter, decoy

- Besides being good at spiking, opposite hitters should be good at blocking too. They are often used as a backup setter. Taehyung would be good at all of these things.
- Tae is really good at acting so he would be a great decoy!

Jeon Jungkook - outside hitter, ace

- Like Hobi, Jungkook is always consistent in everything he does, so he would make a great outside hitter
- The ace has high mental strength and good rationality. They should be confident and are usually responsible for scoring the last points
