what's going on in Poland: for those of you that still won't educate yourself
our polish president, Andrej Duda, signed a "Family Card" 2 weeks ago (6/6/2020) which basically protects "traditional family values". this means that it is only legal for a woman and a man to get married.
LGBTQ+ communities have barely any rights. they cannot get married or adopt children. 1/3 of Poland is now an LGBTQ+ free zone. Duda has said that "LGBTQ+ is an ideology" and "we must protect our children" from it.
in the first pride parade, LGBTQ+ people have had stones thrown at them and streets disinfected after them as people believe LGBTQ+ is a disease that can spread. in the second pride parade, a couple brought explosives
there are anti-lgbtq+ stickers that are being handed around and sold with the local newspaper

Duda is fighting against women's rights and to make abortions illegal. he has recently released a pedophile from prison that r*ped his own daughter and said it was a "family thing"
he has been using anti-LGBTQ+ speech in order to drum up support and on July 12th, he won his presidential run against Trzaskowski with 51.2% of the votes. he is now our president once again for the next 5 years.
