Easter was historically a holiday that Jews in many parts of Europe dreaded. Christians were whipped up into fits during sermons and passion plays, and Jews paid for it with their lives.

Please remember it when someone tells you that antisemitism is minor, a thing of the past, or that Jews are overreacting when public figures promote hatred of us.
