JP 2.0 Intelligence - Dempsey
It's official advice. Let's review a bit.
The previous two JP, 357 and 3-13-1, Civil Military Operations and Electronic Warfare, are both singed off by US Navy Directors.

It should be noted, that while we appreciate their photograph provided, infra, the @CIA CIA has failed to update their bibliographies.
And everyone note that under Obama, the Army and all "Joint" or combined forces were pushing exploitation, as set on the bedrock military and Intelligence principles still in place. The @NSAGov and all other elements are clearly tasked with exploitation of even their own.
Those biographies were good at one point in that they contained a link to resourced materials.

Consider the CIA article dealing with Joint Intleligence Centers, @

People should be advised that when the CIA is used as a resource, it can be somewhat effective in that others may not want to deal with the materials, nor the subject matter, and therefore, may "isolate" or "group" away from the materials and individual[s] presenting such.
Such distancing is a key sign that from an intelligence standpoint, even amidst Colonel levels, Admiral levels, and above, that you are likely doing a good thing in terms of presenting accurate information when people remove themselves from a discussion.
With that said, it is nice to have commentary and for people to attempt to understand the details of intelligence work. The subject matter is serious, and does involve the military and real world examples. It is my specialty.
Okay, we took a semi-micro avionic break with @potus for a minute. We're back. Let's choose some terms to work with here with JP 2.0, which we don't like as much because it is supplanted by an addending JP 2-01 and 2-03 (both Intel and more recent) and signed off on by Navy.
JP "2.0" Joint Intelligence is signed off on by Dempsey, who lost credibility with Obama exchanging in deals with Iran and engaging in Targeted Takedowns of United States citizens (and other citizens).

See @intercept for details....
And whatever there is to Iran, it is just that they are screaming to kill each other. So, it doesn't make sense to have Iran, or any such country as a "backstop" or cover for otherwise suspicious, or unapproved behaviours.

I bring in @CIA and @GCHQ and @FBI because they lost
And the JP "2.0" as I call it is proof of how military leadership can fail people and cause lasting leadership problems within an organization that might simply justify an ongoing exploitation of its own troops to deflect the larger problems at play.
