please stop only referring jonghyun to what happened to him. he is a human an incredible, talented and honestly the most caring and understanding one ever. an inspiration to many including myself. but you still reduce him to what happened

during his career and even before he had debuted he wrote many songs. he has 5 self written and self composed albums

he has even wrote for other artists some of which include exo, taemin and iu

his vocals are insane and have to be some of the best in the industry

other than being an inspiration to fans he was also an inspiration for his fellow idols to want to debut some of which being taeil from nct and holland

jonghyun’s debut solo album was the first ever album from korea to be charted #1 on the billboard world albums chart. his other solo albums also made it on the chart

his song déjà-boo aicheved an all-kill and won 8 music show wins. this also made him the 2nd highest ranking sm soloist music show wins

at the 2019 golden disc awards, poet | artist won a disc bonsang also he received the disc bonsang fans choice

for 3 years he hosted a radio show called “Blue Night” which comforted listeners. this radio show won excellence award for radio at the 2015 MBC entertainment awards

not only does he have incredible achievements like those he also used his platform and his voice to speak up

jonghyun used his twitter platform to promote a campaign against domestic violence

he was accused of being a misogynist and because of the lies people were spreading he wrote a letter regarding the issue

he also supported a funding event to provide sanitary pads to girls who couldnt afford them

jonghyun made a sincere apology adressing a cultural appropriation issue

after the korean government released a plan to reform history textbooks and education system changes jonghyun said that he doesnt want to raise children in such a system

jonghyun has used his voice multiple times to support women and minority groups

he reached out to a trans fan and supported them publicly knowing that it is a touchy subject in korea

so please talk about those things when talking about him. talk about how kind he is and how talented he is. talk about the amazing work he did in using his platform

dont reply to tweets about him with sad emojis and stuff like that as it doesnt have anything to do with that and makes us feel bad

you are aloud to be sad even if you dont stan but just remember you wont feel how we feel

you can be sad and you have the rights to be but dont spread sadness on posts that are meant to be positive about him. treat him like you would treat any other idol

and if a shawol wishes to not speak about the 18th december then respect them and their wishes

for his birthday posts please do not post “i miss you” as it is his special day and we only want to spread positivity about him because he did so much for us
