A little thread about being a Detective for those maybe considering it. Let me start with, in the job there are literally 100s of roles that could excite anyone & be your dream role, i spent 10 years in uniform & throughly loved ever moment of it, i worked on Response team, Safer
2) neighbourhood, town centre team, did a stint in intel and even worked in public order communication (loved that, met some amazing people) the 2011 riots was literally my first deployment of that skill after having just qualified. I even had the absolute privilege to work on
