I’ve actually tried that “bedazzled wax” look...

I was getting my regular wax job.. & jiki jiki the wax person says “Let me show you what I have introduced to my salon”..

She brings out what I called “pubis jewels”

Curious cat in me me asked “so how does this work”?

She says they are self adhesive, you just select the design you want and voila.. it’s stuck on you.

She further says It can stay on up to 2 weeks (to which I shook my head coz I’m black & I don’t do “bathing lite, Ke kgwahlisha letsogo ).

Anyways, I’m proper curious now.

So we look at designs she has & I did see 1 similar to that “diamond encrusted for the whole pubis” & I’m like nah.. too close to the action area. I don’t want scratches &blood!!

I settled for a red heart .. it was small enough to not cause me anxiety about scratching bae

Now must choose where to put it. Did uGirl not suggest to put it “like a landing strip”? Like there just above the apex of the vulva?

I was like nah.. this is an experiment, I don’t even know if mans is gonna like it.. (well, we share that space so yes his opinion mattered)

So, we settled for top left “corner” of the pubis I think.. I almost asked her to put it on the back of my shoulder like a tattoo

I mean I’ll try everything once (except cocaine / heroin & their cousins)..

But that thing had my mind spinning..

I asked myself so many questions:

-Like, if I don’t like it does it mean I’m a prude?
-Why do people come up with things to decorate pubes? (She said it was a hit with gay men also.. so it’s not “just women”)

I lay there with questions while she stuck the thing on..

That week I didn’t bath with the kids coz I wasn’t ready to answer their questions about the blingage..

And I’m not answering ANY questions from y’all either so don’t bother!!

But I will say there was no skin irritation from them being stuck on me those few days..
